The Winnipeg Jets (34-16-2) meet the San Jose Sharks (30-16-7) at Bell MTS Place on Tuesday night.
The Jets were last in action on home-ice against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday evening, where they claimed a resounding 9-3 win. The victory included a hat-trick from Jack Roslovic in a game where the Jets were 6-0 up at the end of the 1st Period.
The Jets are currently averaging 3.52 Goals per Game, which puts them up in 4th in the overall NHL standings. Defensively they are allowing 2.79 Goals per Game, which places them 6th overall. On an individual basis, Mark Scheifele has 26 goals to date for the Jets, while Blake Wheeler has contributed 54 assists.
The San Jose Sharks were also last in action on Saturday evening, when they secured a 3-2 OT win on home-ice against the Arizona Coyotes.
As things stand the Sharks are averaging 3.58 Goals per Game to leave them 3rd in the overall NHL standings, while they are allowing 3.13 Goals per Game which places them 21st overall on that front. Individually, Joe Pavelski has scored 28 goals for the Sharks, while Brent Burns has provided 47 assists.
Both these teams are going pretty well, but our NHL predictions have to take into account home-ice advantage and the fact that the Sharks are not the best defensively. On that basis, the tips on the Money Line odds in this game have to be the Jets.
