The Maple Leafs are in no better shape than the Golden Knights after their own five-game losing streak, culminating in a 6-1 rout on the road at the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night.
Jason Spezza scored for Toronto, with Kasimir Kaskisuo stopping 31 shots on his NHL debut.
On the NHL stats front, Toronto are averaging 3.18 Goals per Game, but allowing 3.41 Goals per Game. Auston Matthews has 14 goals and 27 points for the Maples Leafs, while Mitch Marner has recorded 14 assists.
