Makdessi has improved his odds with the change of opponent but it won’t be easy for the 33-year-old.
The Peruvian is a well-rounded fighter who can punish from all angles and looks a good bet, particularly for those who expect his UFC career to really kick on.
The bookmakers are siding with Makdessi just, given his recent performances although it’s a fight that couldn’t be closer to call.

We’re excited by the prospect of Pinedo. His record suggests he can win in almost any way, although given Makdessi has never been beaten by submission, we expect him to go looking for the knockout.
He showed against Carlos Alexandre he can be devastating with his elbows, and we’d perhaps fancy a bet on him taking a Round 2 knockout.
However, it’s impossible to rule out Makdessi who has all the experience and know how to get the job down.
