The injury-depleted Raptors showed great character in recovering from a heavy home-court loss to the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day by winning 113-97 on the road against the same opposition on Saturday night.
Once again Toronto were missing the injured trio of Pascal Siakam (groin), Norman Powell (left shoulder subluxation) and Marc Gasol (left hamstring) for a 5th straight game.
It was a game in which the Raptors never trailed, as they broke a two-game losing streak.
Kyle Lowry scored 30 points for Toronto, Serge Ibaka added 20 and Patrick McCaw and Fred VanVleet each had 18 points as the Raptors exacted swift revenge for their defeat three days earlier.

The Thunder were also in action on Saturday night, as they claimed a 104-102 OT win on the road at the Charlotte Hornets.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 27 points, Dennis Schroder added 24 off the bench (in a tale of two benches, Oklahoma’s outscored the Charlotte’s 47-26) and Chris Paul had 16 points for the Thunder.
