Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Milos Raonic Predictions & Betting Odds - Australian Open Preview

Stefanos Tsitsipas meets Milos Raonic in the third round of the men’s singles at the Australian Open 2020 in Melbourne on Friday.

The sixth seeded Tsitsipas had the good fortune to advance to the third round without having to hit a ball, when German veteran Philipp Kohlschreiber withdrew ahead of their second round match due to a muscle strain.

Tsitsipas, who won the coveted title at the ATP Finals in November last year, reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open in Melbourne last year, beating 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer in the process.

Milos Raonic, the 32nd seed here, is the last Canadian player standing in either the men’s or women’s singles. In the second round he eased past the Chilean Cristian Garin 6-3, 6-4, 6-2.

The 29 year-old Raonic, always noted for his serving, hit 19 aces and won 78% of his service points against Guarin.

Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Milos Raonic Betting Lines & Predictions

In terms of Australian Open 2020 tips, this will be the first time that Tsitsipas and Raonic have played each other at an ATP event. Tsitsipas looks to have the edge and is the favourite in the betting accordingly at odds of -250 (1.36) with bet365 Sportsbook, with Raonic at +210 (3.10) with Betway Sports.

Tsitsipas will probably win this, but there’s no great value on those betting lines against an in-form player and the former world-ranked no. 3.

With Raonic serving so well, this could be a long match, so we’ll go to the ‘Total Games’ betting market for the tip and back Over 41.5 at -110 (1.91) with 888Sport
