This game can be viewed in one of two ways. You can see it as the New Orleans Saints are the best team in the NFL. They are riding a ten-game winning streak, Drew Brees is playing like a man possessed, he has some of the best weapons in the NFL to work with on offence, and the Saints defence is pretty good as well.
The Dallas Cowboys are the best team of a bad division. They have a decent defence, but they are too reliant on the run game and can’t count on Dak Prescott to win the game through the air. They don’t stand a chance against the Saints.
Or you could look at it as the Cowboys defence is good and could possibly give the Saints a run for their money. The Cowboys defence is good against the run and isn’t bad against the pass either. If they can play their best game of the season on defence, they could limit the high-powered Saints offence.
However, the bread and butter of the Dallas offence is the run game, and the Saints have the No. 1 run defence in the league. Is it because they are that good or because everyone is too busy throwing on their 31st ranked pass defence?
But the better question may be whether Dak Prescott can keep the offence humming like it has been the last three weeks.
So—who’s going to win?
Dallas will make this a much better game than expected. But in the end, the Saints are going to come out on top. But they are only going to win by six, so take the Cowboys and the points As for the over/under—take the under.
