The Ravens offense has developed an identity since Lamar Jackson was made the starter—they are one of the best running teams in the league. In four of Jackson’s five starts, the Ravens have run for 200+ yards in each (and won).
However, this offense has been effective against lesser competition (Raiders, Bengals, Falcons, and the Buccaneers). Against the Chiefs, it came up short for one very good reason. Lamar Jackson is not a very good passer.
He is completing less than 60 percent of his passes and has yet to throw for more than 178 yards in a single game.
Los Angeles, on the other hand, has one of the best offenses in the NFL. Philip Rivers is one of the best in the game. He has a solid group of receivers but could be without his best one (Keenan Allen; hip injury). But the Chargers are expected to get Melvin Gordon back.

The Chargers defense is good at stopping the run but good enough to slow down the Ravens attack?
- Spread: Chargers by 4.5
Baltimore is good, but they are going to be too one-dimension against the Chargers. The Ravens defense will make it tough, but the Chargers will win by at least a touchdown.
- Over/Under: 44.5
The defenses for both teams are going to play a major role in this one. Take the under.
- Money line: Ravens +185.00; Chargers -227.27
Baltimore could make a game of it with their strong defense and run game, but this is the year for the Chargers. They are not going to let this opportunity slip away. Take the Chargers to win.
