The Rams have already locked down their division but have yet to secure the No. 1 seed. So, they will be putting their best foot forward still. That means the Vikings are going to get a healthy dose of Todd Gurley along with everything Jared Goff can bring in the passing game.
But at the same time, the Rams are going to be concerned about health. They are not going to want to risk nagging injuries becoming more serious. It wouldn’t be shocking to see them step off the gas if they can get out to an early lead.
How well the Bears play will depend entirely on whether Mitchell Trubisky is active. The early word is that he is officially day-to-day. So, it looks good, but they are going to wait before making it official.
With him and their defense, they will be competitive. Without him, they don’t stand a chance of pulling off the upset.
- Spread: Rams by 3
The Bears defense will make life difficult for the Rams on offense. But the talent the Rams have on offense should be able to overcome the Bears D. The Rams will cover the spread.
- Over/Under: 52.5
The Bears defense will slow down the Rams offense enough to keep the over from being hit. Chicago will score some points but not enough to push the point total over 52.5. Take the under.
- Money line: Rams -166.67; Bears +140.00
With Mitchell Trubisky at quarterback, the Bears will be able to give the Rams a decent fight but will not win. Without him, the Rams win this one with ease.
