Toronto FC meet Philadelphia Union at BMO Field on Saturday afternoon in a game between two of the current leading teams in the MLS Eastern Conference.

At the time of writing, the Reds are fourth in the Eastern Conference league standings, four points adrift of the table-topping Union, but with three games in hand.

One of those games in hand for Toronto took place the Wednesday night prior to hosting Philadelphia, when they went down to a 2-0 loss on the road at Atlanta United.

Both these teams had good wins last weekend, with the Reds coming away from Orlando City with a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Jonathan Osorio and substitute Jay Chapman.

The Union are in good form of late, having taken 10 points from their last four games, culminating in a comprehensive 6-1 win on home-turf against New England Revolution last time out.

The win saw two goals from Sergio Santos within 10 minutes of him coming off the bench as a second-half substitute and one each from Jack Elliott, Ilsinho, Kacper Przybyłko and David Accam.
