The Hamilton Tiger-Cats (15-3) take on the Edmonton Eskimos (8-10) in the Eastern Division Final at Tim Hortons Field on Sunday afternoon.

For the Tiger-Cats, this will be their fifth appearance in the Eastern Final in seven seasons. Hamilton were the dominant force of the regular CFL season, scoring 551 points at an average of 30.6 per game

A pivotal player for Hamilton is Dane Evans, who replaced the injured Jeremiah Masoli at Quarterback for the Cats in late July, since when they have had a 10-2 record. Hamilton enters this game on a six-game winning streak.

The Edmonton Eskimos booked their place in the Divisional Final with a slightly surprising 37-29 victory over the Montreal Alouettes in the Eastern semi-final last weekend.  Quarterback Trevor Harris was the key player for Edmonton, throwing for 421 yards and a touchdown.

Over the course of the regular season, Hamilton won both matches played between the two teams – 30-27 in Edmonton in Week 15, then a resounding 42-12 demolition in Hamilton in Week 17.
