Eugenie Bouchard and Bianca Andreescu meet in an all-Canadian clash in the first round of the Rogers Cup at Aviva Centre in Toronto on Tuesday night.
It’s a match between the top two female Canadian players in the world rankings, although Bouchard’s star has fallen somewhat in recent years. A former world no. 5, Bouchard has slipped to No. 112 in the rankings after winning just two matches on the WTA Tour this year and was given a wild card into the Rogers Cup.
Andreescu has momentum the other way, but the 19 year-old (who is world ranked no. 27) has played just one match since March because of the injury to her right shoulder.
The 25 year-old Bouchard was a Wimbledon finalist and was a semi-finalist in both the Australian Open and French Open in 2014, but she has never been able to come close to replicating that form ever since.

Oh, and Maria Sharapova and Venus Williams will be playing #RC19 too. ?

Eugenie Bouchard vs Bianca Andreescu Betting Lines & Picks
The fact that Bianca Andreescu has played so little tennis in the last few months makes our 2019 Rogers Cup predictions for this match less straightforward than they might otherwise have been, but if she is anywhere near her best form there really should be only one outcome here.
In the tennis betting lines on the match, Andreescu is the clear favourite at odds of -317 (1.32) at Sports Interaction, while the line on Bouchard is at +240 (3.40) with bet365.
