The fight is a rematch between undefeated and reigning WBC champion Wilder and undefeated former unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, The Ring, and lineal champion Fury, for the WBC and vacant The Ring, and lineal heavyweight titles.
When these two first met at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in December 2018, it ended in a split-decision draw. The result meant that Wilder retained his WBC title for an eighth time.
In that fight, the American knocked down his opponent twice, in the ninth and 12th rounds. Even so, it was Fury who was widely seen as having had the best of the fight by most observers as he out-boxed the 34 year-old champion.
This fight promises to produce another epic encounter with plenty of drama and could easily go either way.
Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury 2 Betting Lines & Prediction
Wilder has won 40 of his fights by KO, so is clearly a major threat to the 31 year-old Fury. However, Fury has shown that he can take a punch and get back off the canvas and, should it go the distance, our prediction is for the British fighter to get the verdict on this occasion and he is therefore our tip to win the fight and Wilder’s WBC belt.
