There was something for everyone in the Week 13 slate of CFL games. Fans of tough, hard-nosed defence had to love watching the BC Lions take down the Ottawa Redblacks. If you are the type that likes to give an ‘A’ for effort, then you were pleased with Montreal even though they lost to Hamilton once again.
If you like it when things get a little crazy, then you probably enjoyed the Roughriders defeat of the Blue Bombers again. For those that enjoy seeing the top dogs get taken down a peg, you had to love seeing the Eskimos come out on top against the Stampeders.
As exciting as the games were, they are done and over with—time to move on to the Week 14 slate. Fans will get to enjoy three games:
- Friday night, the BC Lions will take on the Montreal Alouettes in a game they have to win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
- Saturday afternoon, the Calgary Stampeders will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats
- Saturday night, the Ottawa Redblacks will face a very tough Saskatchewan Roughriders team.
Will the recent breakout of sloppy play by Calgary continue or will Bo Levi Mitchell and company show Jeremiah Masoli how it’s done? Will fans see Johnny Manziel play against the Lions? Are the Redblacks going through a funk of some sort? Can they break out if it against the Roughriders?
For potential answers to these questions along with the lines, spread, and over/under for this weekend’s slate of games enjoy the following previews.
