The Canucks were also in action on Thursday evening (again, result as yet unknown at the time of writing), when they were on the road at the Edmonton Oilers. Their last game prior to that was last Saturday night, when they lost 1-0 at home to the Winnipeg Jets.
The Canucks are averaging 2.97 Goals per Game, which leaves then tied 13th in the overall NHL standings. Defensively they are allowing 3.15 Goals per Game, leaving them a lowly 22nd overall. On an individual player performance basis, Elias Pettersson has 17 goals and 19 assists for the Canucks.
Although their form has dipped of late, any betting predictions in this game have to favour the Flames and, with home-ice advantage and a generally better roster, they are the picks on the Money Line odds to win.
