The Sabres ended a three-game losing streak with a 5-2 win at the Florida Panthers on Sunday night. Their goals came from Jeff Skinner, two from Zemgus Girgensons, Jack Eichel and Victor Olofsson. Goaltender Linus Ullmark made 43 saves.
Buffalo were on the road again on Monday evening where they lost 5-2 to Tampa Bay Lightning and on Wednesday evening they had home-ice advantage against the Calgary Flames where they lost again 3-2.

After a six-game losing streak, the Toronto Maple Leafs are back on track with three straight wins since firing coach Mike Babcock and replacing him with Sheldon Keefe.
A 3-1 win on the road at the Arizona Coyotes in Keefe’s NHL coaching debut was followed up with a 5-3 win at the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night. Nicholas Shore, Auston Matthews, Tyson Barrie, Kasperi Kapanen and Zach Hyman scored for Toronto, while Frederik Andersen made 34 saves.
