Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes (18-4-0) defends her Women’s Bantamweight title against Germaine “The Iron Lady” de Randamie (9-3-0) at UFC245 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
This fight is Nunes vs De Randamie II, with the original bout taking place six years ago when Nunes won via TKO at 3:56 mark of the opening round. De Randamie hasn’t lost a fight since then.
The 31 year-old Brazilian Nunes is also the champion of the 145-pound featherweight division, but her most recent fight saw her successfully defend her bantamweight title against Holly Holm at UFC 239 in July via TKO after 4:10 of the first round.
Nunes is currently on a nine-fight winning streak and she last suffered a loss back in 2014, when she was knocked out by Cat Zingano. This fight against De Randamie will be her fifth title defence in the 135-pound weight class.

The 35 year-old Dutch challenger has won her last five fights, with the most recent seeing her defeat Aspen Ladd via TKO in a bout that lasted just 16 seconds in July.
