FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Betting Odds
As you’d probably expect, the USA are huge favourites to win after winning the last two tournaments.
They’re priced at -800 with William Hill, with the likes of Kyle Lowry, James Harden and Kevin Love expected to have far too much talent to welcome any form of upset.
The Spanish, who have a pretty talented side of their own are second favourites. They won the competition in 2006 and are a +1500 shot.
The full list of favourites for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 can be found below.
With the tournament still a short period away, the outright market is the only one available to bet on currently. As the tournament approaches, you will be able to bet on individual markets, which will include:

FIBA Basketball World Cup Betting Tips & Predictions
It’s really hard to look past the USA in the tournament. The gulf in quality is huge and they can be expected to get to the Final and lift the trophy with ease.
They have a huge pool of talent to choose from and even without the likes of Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and LeBron James in their squad, they’re still a class apart.
The best market with the USA will be the totals market combined with Moneyline simply to increase your odds, while James Harden will likely be one of the superstars and a regular 20+ point scorer.
Spain perhaps has the best chance of meeting them in the final. They have a number of players in the NBA, including Marc Gasol and they will be reliant upon his form to do well. A punt on them to reach the final is a sensible wager, although Serbia could also be worthwhile on that front too.

FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 – Canada Team
The Canada team eased through qualifying and will be a sound bet to make it through to the Second Group
They face Senegal, Australia and Lithuania in the initial group and should have enough quality, with their NBA stars in the team to finish top of the group.
We’d certainly place that as one of our World Cup tips, particularly after a great year for Canadian basketball, with the Raptors winning the NBA Championship.
Canada will likely welcome a number of NBA players into their squad, including Minnesota Timberwolves star Andrew Wiggins who has committed to the side.
The likes of Tristan Thompson, Dwight Powell and Grizzlies Guard Dillon Brooks will also make the team, giving them a solid underdog edge to build on into the tournament.
